Turnover from the sale of services slightly down monthly
In September 2023, turnover from the sale of services was lower at the monthly level by 0.1%, but higher at the annual level by 1.5%.
At the monthly level the largest decline in real estate activities
Turnover from the sale of services decreased by 0.1% compared to August. It went down the most in real estate activities (by 5.2%). It was also lower in administrative and support service activities (by 0.9%) and in accommodation and food service activities (by 0.4%). On the other hand, it was higher in transportation and storage activities (by 1.1%), in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 0.9%) and in information and communication activities (by 0.6%).
At the annual level, however, the largest growth
Turnover from the sale of services was 1.5% higher than a year ago. It increased the most in real estate activities (by 12.7%). It was also higher in accommodation and food service activities (by 5.8%), in information and communication activities (by 4.9%) and in administrative and support service activities (by 0.5%). On the other hand, it was lower in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 3.1%), while in transportation and storage activities it remained at the same level as in the previous year.
In the first nine months of this year, turnover from the sale of services was 2.9% higher than in the same period last year. It went up the most in real estate activities.

Data are seasonally adjusted. 14 August 2023 is also taken into account as a day off.
