Producer prices of animal products at the annual level higher
At the annual level, producer prices of agricultural products were on average higher by 0.5%. The value of purchased agricultural products increased by 6.1%.
Prices of animals and animal products higher, of crop products the same than last July
Compared to last July, the prices of agricultural products increased on average by 0.5%.
The prices of animals and animal products went up on average on 0.9%. The prices of animal products were higher by 3.0% due to higher prices of milk and eggs. The prices of animals for slaughter decreased by 0.9%. The prices of pigs and poultry were lower, while cattle prices were 9.1% higher than a year ago.
The prices of crop products remained at the same level as in last July. Cereals prices decreased by 0.8%. Lower were also the prices of potato and fruit. On the other hand, the prices of industrial plants, vegetables and wine were higher.
The value of purchased cereals higher by a tenth
The value of purchased agricultural products was 6.1% higher than in last July. It increased in all groups, most substantially in the group arable farming, by 16.4%. Significantly higher were the values of purchased potato and vegetables, mostly due to a larger quantity of purchased products. The value of purchased cereals was higher by a tenth.
The value of purchase in the group fruit and wine growing was higher by 14.6%. The value of purchased alcoholic beverages increased by a fifth, due to a larger quantity and higher prices of purchased products. The value of purchased fruit also went up (by 4.4%).
The value of purchased livestock increased by 2.0%. The value of purchased milk was higher by 2.2% due to higher milk price. Also higher were the values of purchased livestock, poultry and eggs.
