Average earnings of persons in paid employment by registered natural persons lower than earnings for May
Compared to earnings for May, average gross earnings for June were lower in nominal terms by 0.8% and in real terms by 1.2%. In the first half of 2024, they increased by 7.2% in nominal terms compared to the same period of 2023.

Average gross earnings of persons in paid employment by registered natural persons for June 2024 amounted to EUR 1,481.42 and were lower than earnings for the previous month in nominal terms by 0.8% and in real terms by 1.2%. Average net earnings amounted to EUR 984.18 and were in nominal terms by 0.9% and in real terms by 1.3% lower than earnings for May.
Compared to the 1st half-year of 2023, at the semi-annual level average gross earnings were higher in nominal terms by 7.2% and in real terms by 4.2%.
Again the highest in human health and social work activities
On average, again the highest gross earnings for June were paid in human health and social work activities (EUR 1,933.39; by almost a third higher than the national average) and the lowest in arts, entertainment and recreation (EUR 1,172.70). Monthly growth of gross earnings was also the highest in human health and social work activities, increasing by 1.8%.
