Statistics of building permits, June 2024
More building permits issued and fewer dwellings planned
In June, 11% more building permits were issued than in the previous month: for residential buildings 20% and for non-residential buildings 5% more. On the other hand, 7% fewer dwellings were planned.
The floor area of planned buildings larger
The total floor area of all buildings planned in June was almost 152,000 m2, which is 6% larger than in May. The total floor area of planned residential buildings was 17% larger and of planned non-residential buildings 2% smaller.
Fewer dwellings planned
By issuing building permits, in June 336 dwellings were planned, which is 7% fewer than in May. In one-dwelling buildings 204 dwellings were planned (18% more) and in two- and more dwelling buildings 132 dwellings were planned (2% more). In residences for communities no dwellings were planned in June, while in May, 60 dwellings were planned.
The largest number of dwellings to be built in the Podravska statistical region
The largest number of dwellings was planned in the Podravska statistical region, 84 or a quarter of all, followed by Osrednjeslovenska with 47 dwellings (14% of all), and Obalno-kraška with 45 dwellings (13% of all). The fewest dwellings (6) were planned in the Koroška statistical region.
