In December 2023, the ILO unemployment rate was the same as the month before.
The monthly ILO unemployment rate was at 4.2% in December 2023, the same as in November 2023 and by 0.7 of a percentage point higher than in December 2022.
We estimate that there were 44,000 unemployed persons in the age group 15–74 in December 2023, of whom 54% were men and 46% were women. The unemployment rate among men as well as among women was 4.2%.
