Economic sentiment up

At the monthly level as well as the anual level, the economic sentiment improved.

The value of the sentiment indicator was at −3.1 percentage points (p.p.), 0.9 p.p. higher than in the previous month (at −4.0 p.p.).

The sentiment indicator was positively influenced by four out of five indicators: in retail trade (by 0.8 p.p.), in construction (by 0.2 p.p.), and in services and manufacturing (by 0.1 p.p. each). On the other hand, the indicator among consumers (by 0.3 p.p.) had a negative impact. 

… and at the annual level

Compared to the previous November, the value of the sentiment indicator went up by 2.2 p.p.

It was higher due to the increase in confidence indicators in retail trade (by 1.0 p.p.), in services (by 0.8 p.p.), among consumers (by 0.4 p.p.), and in manufacturing (by 0.2 p.p.), while in construction this indicator had no impact.
