Total market production higher than in September
The monthly increase in the total volume of production was influenced by all observed sections of activities except services. It also increased at the annual level, but decreased at the level of the first ten months of the year.
Up at the monthly level
In October, the total market production improved by 0.6% over the previous month. It increased the most in industry (by 2.3%) and decreased only in service activities (by 1.6%).
At the annual level also higher
The total market production increased by 0.5% compared to the previous October. A large decline was observed in construction (by 13.4%), while in other activities production increased, the most in industry (by 3.5%).
At the level of the first ten months lower
Compared to the first ten months of last year, the total market production declined by 0.5%. This was influenced by the decline in construction (by 10.7%) as well as in industry (by 1.3%).
