The value of construction put in place up at the monthly and at the annual level

The value of construction put in place in September 2023 was 7.4% higher than in the previous month and 32.1% higher than a year ago.

At the monthly level, the value of construction put in place increased by 7.4%. As regards buildings, it went up by 1.6%, as regards civil engineering by 13.0% and as regards specialised construction activity by 8.4%. 

… higher than a year ago …  

At the annual level, the value of construction put in place increased by 32.1%. As regards buildings, it went up by 14.8%, as regards civil engineering by 45.8% and as regards specialised construction activities by 27.7%. 

… and higher in comparison with the first nine months of 2022  

The value of construction put in place in the first nine months of 2023 increased by 23.4% over the same period of the previous year. As regards buildings, it went up by 15.9%, as regards civil engineering by 23.7% and as regards specialised construction activities by 34.4%.
