Services producer prices slightly higher than in the previous quarter

In the 3^rd quarter of this year, services producer prices increased at the quarterly and annual level. Prices increased the most in accommodation and food service activities.

Prices up the most in accommodation and food service activities at the quarterly level …

Services producer prices were higher by 0.7% over the previous quarter. As regards sections of activities, they increased in accommodation and food service activities (by 5.1%), in administrative and support service activities (by 2.3%), and in transportation and storage (by 0.4%). Prices decreased in information and communication (by 0.7%) and in real estate activities (by 0.1%). The prices of services in professional, scientific and technical activities remained unchanged.

… as well as at the annual level

Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, services producer prices went up by 5.6%. They increased the most in accommodation and food service activities (by 11.3%), followed by real estate activities (by 9.7%). In professional, scientific and technical activities they went up by 7.5%, in administrative and support service activities by 6.9%, and in information and communication by 3.9%. The lowest price increase was recorded in transportation and storage (by 2.8%).
