Total market production higher than in the previous month

In September, the total market production index was higher at the monthly level and slightly lower at the annual level. It was also lower at the level of the first nine months.

At the monthly level up …

The total market production grew by 3.1% over the previous month. Growth was observed in industry (by 4.2%) and in construction (by 7.4%).

… at the annual level down

Compared to the previous September, the total market production declined by 0.6%. It decreased in industry (by 6.1%) and in trade (by 6.6%), but grew a lot in construction (by 32.1%).

At the level of the first nine months also lower

Compared to the first nine months of 2022, the total market production declined by 0.5%. At this level, growth was recorded in construction (by 23.4%) and in services (by 1.6%).
