Turnover from the sale of services lower than in the previous month
In March 2023, turnover from the sale of services was 0.5% lower than in the previous month and 12.5% higher than a year ago.
At the monthly level the largest decline in professional, scientific and technical activities
Turnover from the sale of services decreased by 0.5% over the previous month. It decreased the most in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 3.1%). Turnover was also lower in accommodation and food service activities (by 1.1%) and in transportation and storage activities (by 0.7%). On the other hand, it was higher in real estate activities (by 7.2%), in information and communication activities (by 1.9%) and in administrative and support service activities (by 0.8%).
At the annual level higher in all activities, the largest growth in real estate activities
Turnover from the sale of services was 12.5% higher than a year ago. At the annual level, all observed groups of service activities contributed to the growth of turnover. It increased the most in real estate activities by 29.8%. In accommodation and food service activities it was higher by 23.0%, in administrative and support service activities by 21.2%, in professional, scientific and technical activities by 16.2%, in information and communication activities by 15.2% and in transportation and storage activities by 5.1%.
In the first quarter of this year higher than in the same period of last year
Turnover from the sale of services in the first quarter of 2023 was 14.2% higher than in the same period of the previous year. The highest growth was recorded in accommodation and food service activities.
