Turnover from the sale of services higher than in the previous month
In January 2023, turnover from the sale of services was higher at the monthly level (by 2.1%) as well as at the annual level (by 14.4%).
At the monthly level the highest growth in information and communication activities
Turnover from the sale of services increased by 2.1% over December 2022. It increased the most in information and communication activities (by 5.7%). Turnover was also higher in accommodation and food service activities (by 5.1%), in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 4.2%) and in administrative and support service activities (by 1.7%). On the other hand, it was lower in real estate activities (by 1.1%) and in transportation and storage activities (by 0.5%).
Turnover at the annual level higher in all activities, the most in accommodation and food services
Turnover from the sale of services was 14.4% higher than a year ago. At the annual level, all observed groups of service activities contributed to the growth of turnover. It increased the most in accommodation and food service activities (by 44.3%), followed by administrative and support service activities (by 20.9%), information and communication activities (by 15.7%), real estate activities (by 14.8%), professional, scientific and technical activities (by 11.8%) and transportation and storage activities (by 7.4%).
