Only confidence in services improved
At the monthly level, the value of the confidence indicator increased in services and decreased in retail trade, construction, and manufacturing. At the annual level, too, the indicator increased in services, while it decreased in other sectors.
Lower confidence in manufacturing …
The confidence indicator was lower in all three comparisons: at the monthly level by 1 percentage point (p.p.), at the annual level by 9 p.p. and compared to the long-term average by 6 p.p.
The stock of finished products and overall order books indicators worsened (the former by 4 p.p. and the latter by 2 p.p.), while the expected production indicator improved by 5 p.p.

The confidence indicator decreased by 11 p.p. at the monthly level, by 12 p.p. at the annual level, and by 6 p.p. compared to the long-term average.
The monthly deterioration of confidence was mainly influenced by the volume of stocks (by 33 p.p.). Among all observed indicators, the expected orders indicator deteriorated the most (by 42 p.p.).
… and in construction
The confidence indicator was 4 p.p. lower than in the previous month, and 12 p.p. lower than a year ago, but 22 p.p. above the long-term average.
The decrease in the confidence indicator was mainly due to deterioration of the overall order books indicator (by 9 p.p.).
Confidence in services higher
The confidence indicator went up by 1 p.p. at the monthly level, was 7 p.p. higher at the annual level and 10 p.p. higher than the long-term average.
The business situation and expected demand indicators mainly contributed to the monthly increase, but the demand indicator reduced this increase (the first increased by 5 and the second by 3 p.p., while the third decreased by 4 p.p.).
