Turnover from the sale of services lower than in the previous month
In September, turnover from the sale of services was 1.7% lower than in the previous month and 14.2% higher than a year ago.
At the monthly level higher only in administrative and support service activities
Turnover from the sale of services decreased by 1.7% compared to the previous month. It decreased the most in real estate activities (by 3.1%). It was also lower in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 2.9%), in accommodation and food service activities (by 1.8%), in information and communication activities (by 1.7%) and in transportation and storage activities (by 0.9%). Turnover increased only in administrative and support service activities (by 0.9%).
At the annual level higher in all observed groups of service activities
Turnover from the sale of services was 14.2% higher than a year ago. At the annual level all observed groups of service activities contributed to the growth of turnover. It increased the most in administrative and support service activities (by 23.3%), followed by transportation and storage activities (by 18.2%), accommodation and food service activities (by 13.3%), real estate activities (by 12.5%), information and communication activities (by 9.7%) and professional, scientific and technical activities (by 8.7%).
In the first nine months of 2022, turnover from the sale of services was 20.5% higher than in the same period last year. It was higher in all observed groups of service activities.
