Average earnings lower than earnings for August
Average gross earnings for September were lower than earnings for August, in nominal terms by 1.1% and in real terms by 0.2%.

Average gross earnings for September 2022 amounted to EUR 1,986.82. Compared to earnings for the previous month, they were lower in nominal terms by 1.1% and in real terms by 0.2%. Average net earnings amounted to EUR 1,295.01. Compared to earnings for the previous month, they were lower in nominal terms by 1.3% and in real terms by 0.4%.
Compared to earnings for September of the previous year, they were higher in nominal terms (gross earnings by 6.1%, net earnings by 7.0%) and lower in real terms (gross earnings by 3.5%, net earnings by 2.7%).
In nominal terms lower in both sectors, private and public
Compared to earnings for August, average gross earnings were lower in the private sector by 1.5% and in the public sector by 0.2% (in the institutional sector general government they went down by 0.6%).
Higher than the national average only in the Osrednjeslovenska statistical region
Average gross earnings for September were the highest in the Osrednjeslovenska statistical region (they amounted to EUR 2,191.12 and were 10.3% higher than the national average) and the lowest in the Primorsko-notranjska statistical region (they amounted to EUR 1,745.59 and were 12.1% lower than the national average).
The highest in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply
Compared to earnings for August, average gross earnings increased the most in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (by 9.3%; mainly due to higher extra payments) and amounted to EUR 3,261.05. On the other hand, they decreased the most in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 3.9%; mainly due to lower extra payments).
