In 2021, 65% of the harvested wood remained in Slovenia for further consumption

This year, 39% of the total energy consumed by households was obtained from wood fuels. The household member used on average 554 kg of wood fuels, of which 501 kg of firewood, 38 kg of pellets and 15 kg of wood chips, briquettes and wood residues.
