Total market production continues to grow

The total market production was higher at the monthly level, at the annual level and at the level of the first five months. All observed activities (except service activities at the monthly level) contributed to the growth.

At the monthly level slightly higher

The total market production grew by 0.4% over the previous month. It grew the most in construction (by 5.8%) and declined only in service activities (by 1.0%).

At the annual level higher, construction by almost a third, services by a fifth

Compared to May 2021, the total market production grew by 11.8%. It grew the most in construction (by 30.2%), followed by service activities (by 21.9%).

At the level of the first five months higher, construction and services by a fifth

Compared to the first five months of last year, the total market production grew by 11.3%. It grew the most in construction (by 22.2%), followed by service activities (by 20.9%).
