Agricultural input prices up again

In November 2021, the agricultural input prices were on average 2.8% higher than in October 2021. The prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture increased on average by 3.6% and the prices of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment by 0.8%.

Higher prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture

The prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture increased in November 2021: at the monthly level on average by 3.6% and at the annual level by 28.7%.

Fertilizer prices continue to increase

The prices of fertilizers increased also in November 2021. Compared to October 2021, they were higher on average by 7.1%. The highest price increase was recorded at PK-fertilisers (on average by 14.0%), followed by NPK-fertilisers and nitrogenous fertilizers (on average by 8.3% and by 5.9%, respectively). The prices of phosphatic fertilizers remained the same as in the previous month.

Animal feedingstuffs almost 6% more expensive

The prices of animal feedingstuffs were on average 5.9% higher than in October 2021. Prices in the group straight feedingstuffs increased on average by 0.6% and in the group compound feedingstuffs by 6.6%.

Among compound feedingstuffs, at the monthly level the prices of compound feedingstuffs for poultry went up the most (on average by 8.2%) and of compound feedingstuffs for pigs the least (on average by 1.3%).

Prices of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment higher at the monthly and at the annual level

In November 2021, the prices of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment were on average 0.8% higher than in October 2021 and 6.5% higher than a year ago.

Price increase of materials and of buildings

The prices of materials increased at the monthly level on average by 0.6% and the prices of buildings by 1.4%.

Higher prices in the group machinery and plant for cultivation

The prices of machinery and other equipment increased compared to October 2021 on average by 1.1%. A monthly price increase was recorded at machinery and plant for cultivation (on average by 2.8%).
