User satisfaction survey

By regularly monitoring user satisfaction and needs, SURS continuously strives to improve its products and services.
The Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia (SURS) is the main producer and coordinator of Slovenian national statistics. For us and our progress, it is very important to know what users of our data and services think about us. That is why we have prepared a short user satisfaction survey. The survey is anonymous and will take no more than five minutes to complete.

Last year, the survey was completed by 1,637 people, 59% women and 41% men. Survey results showed that most respondents used SURS’s data for personal (45%) and business purposes (35%), followed by study purposes (11%) and research (7%). The SiStat Database was used by 65% of respondents, the Names and Birthdays application by 38%, and releases on the website by 35%.
Over the past year, 37% of respondents used SURS’s data a few times per year, 24% monthly, and 13% weekly, while 14% did not use them at all. The main reason for not using statistical data was that they did not need the data or content (37%).
The average ratings for satisfaction and trust were higher than in 2023. On a scale from 1 to 10, overall satisfaction was 8.4 (2023: 8.0). Agreement with the statement that SURS had met their expectations averaged 8.3 (2023: 7.9). Agreement with the statement that they would recommend SURS as a source of statistical data averaged 8.8 (2023: 8.6).
