Fewer building permits issued and fewer dwellings planned
At the monthly level, 26% fewer building permits were issued and the floor area was 21% smaller. 27% fewer dwellings were planned.
Floor area of planned buildings smaller
In April, 414 building permits were issued, 26% fewer than in the previous month: for residential buildings 192 (23% fewer) and for non-residential buildings 222 (28% fewer). The total floor area of all planned buildings was 110,863 m2, i.e. 21% smaller than in March. The total floor area of planned residential buildings went down by 19% and of non-residential buildings by 23%.
Fewer dwellings planned
By issuing building permits, in April construction of 280 dwellings was planned, which is 27% fewer than a month before. In one-dwelling buildings 168 dwellings (61 fewer) were planned and in two- and more dwelling buildings 112 (41 fewer), which is 27% fewer dwellings in one- as well as in two- and more dwelling buildings.
A third of dwellings to be built in the Podravska statistical region
The largest number of dwellings were planned in the Podravska statistical region, 93 or a third of all. 53 dwellings (19% of all) were planned in Savinjska and 35 (13% of all) in Osrednjeslovenska. In other statistical regions fewer dwellings were planned, the fewest (2) in Primorsko-notranjska.
