Retail trade turnover again up
In October, volume turnover in retail trade grew for the second time in a row at the monthly and decreased at the annual level. In trade and repair of motor vehicles, on the other hand, it decreased in monthly and grew in year-on-year comparison.
Up for the second consecutive month
Volume turnover in retail trade at the monthly level grew for the second time in a row, this time by 0.3%. In retail trade with non-food products it went up by 2.9%, while in retail trade with food products and in retail trade with automotive fuel it declined by 2.2% and 6.3%, respectively.
At the annual level, volume turnover declined by 15.6%, mostly as a result of the lower turnover in retail trade with automotive fuel (by 34.6%), since in retail trade without automotive fuel it declined by 0.1%. In retail trade with food products it went down by 1.5% and in retail trade with non-food products up by 0.1%.
In the first ten months of the year, volume turnover declined by 11.3% over the same period of the previous year. In retail trade with automotive fuel it was lower by 20.7%, in retail trade with non-food products by 5.3% and in retail trade with food products by 3.4%.

Volume turnover from trade and repair of motor vehicles declined by 0.6% at the monthly and grew by 15.5% at the annual level. It also grew in the first ten months of the year, compared to the same period of last year, namely by 14.7%.
