Compared with September, the total value of roundwood purchased from private forests was higher by 10.4%, and year-on-year by 56.4%.

The value of purchased agricultural products 14.3% higher year-on-year

A lot more water used from the environment than in 2015
In 2024, for own use in economic activities, 101 billion m3 of water was allocated for own use in economic activities or 29 % more water than in 2015, and for distribution from the public water supply 118 million m3 of water or 1% more.

In Slovenia, GDP exhaustiveness adjustments in 2023 amounted to EUR 4,854 million, or 7.6% of GDP. These adjustments include the so-called shadow economy.

Compared to last October, the total value of industrial production was lower, while the total turnover in industry was higher.

Investment in net sales revenues and the operating efficiency ratio the highest this year
In manufacturing, investment in net sales revenues and the operating efficiency ratio were higher than in the 2nd quarter. The export orientation indicator and value added in net sales revenues remained the same.

In October exports up, imports down year-on-year
In October, the value of exports was higher than in the same period last year, while the value of imports decreased. Despite the decline at the monthly level, in the ten-month period the imports value increased.

Fewer births and deaths, natural change of population negative
Compared to the same month of 2024, the number of live births decreased by 4% and the number of deaths by 3%. 314 fewer people were born than died. On average 47 children were born per day and 57 people died.
