Detailed data on living conditions for 2019

The share of households that were able to make ends meet without difficulty increased by 1 percentage point (in 2018: 17%; in 2019: 18%). The average assessment of overall life satisfaction was 7.5 or  0.2 higher than in the previous year. Detailed data are published in the SiStat Database.

Data are broken down by household income, household type and accommodation tenure status, by the most frequent activity status, at-risk-of-poverty status, education, and by cohesion and statistical regions.

General health (SILC)  
Data are broken down by self-defined economic status, age groups, gender and by household income.

Overall life satisfaction (SILC)  
Data are broken down by gender, age groups, education, self-defined economic status, household income, at-risk-of-poverty status, material deprivation status, self-perceived general health, and by cohesion and statistical regions.

METHODOLOGICAL NOTE
The source for data on living conditions is the Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (SILC), which was implemented with the survey in 2019 and the use of administrative and registers data mostly for 2018. The final detailed data from the ad hoc module about »Intergenerational transmission of disadvantages« will be published on 22 September 2020.
