INDICATOR DESCRIPTION
The indicator shows gross domestic expenditure on research and development (R&D) as a share of Slovenian gross domestic product. Gross domestic expenditure on R&D (GERD) is the total intramural R&D expenditure carried out on national territory over a given period. GERD consists of the intramural expenditure of 4 sectors: business sector, government sector, higher education sector and private non-profit sector.
