INDICATOR DESCRIPTION
Total primary energy supply is the quantity of energy consumed within the borders of a country. It is calculated: indigenous production + imports – exports ± international stock changes – marine bunkers.
Final energy consumption is the energy consumed by end-users (households, industry, etc.).
The indicator can also be used to complement the monitoring of goals 12 and 13.
