INDICATOR DESCRIPTION
The indicator shows the share of women in senior management positions in largest listed companies. Data on largest listed companies cover the decision-making positions of the highest ranked nationally registered constituents (max. 50) of the blue-chip index of the national stock exchange in each country.
Included positions:
- Executives: senior executives in the two highest decision-making bodies in each company. The two highest decision-making bodies are usually referred to as the supervisory board and the management board (in case of a two-tier governance system) and the board of directors and executive/management committee (in a unitary system).
