The indicator “employment rate of recent graduates” presents the employment rate of persons aged 20 to 34 fulfilling the following conditions:
- being employed according to the ILO definition,
- having attained at least upper secondary education (ISCED 3) as the highest level of education,
- not having received any education or training in the four weeks preceding the survey,
- having successfully completed their highest educational attainment 1, 2 or 3 years before the survey.

INDICATOR DESCRIPTION
The indicator “employment rate of recent graduates” presents the employment rate of persons aged 20 to 34 fulfilling the following conditions:
- being employed according to the ILO definition,
- having attained at least upper secondary education (ISCED 3) as the highest level of education,
- not having received any education or training in the four weeks preceding the survey,
- having successfully completed their highest educational attainment 1, 2 or 3 years before the survey.
The indicator is calculated based on data from the EU Labour Force Survey.
The indicator can also be used to complement the monitoring of goal 5.
