INDICATOR DESCRIPTION
This indicator tracks trends in anthropogenic atmospheric emissions of ammonia by agriculture (A01 by NACE Rev.2). SURS shows the data in the framework of environmental-economic accounts (NAMEA air emissions) according to the residence principle, meaning that only those emissions deriving from the activity of the residents of Slovenia are taken into account. In the case of emissions from agriculture, deviations are minimal or non-existent, since the impact of the resident principle is mainly due to the amount of emissions derived from (cross-border) transport and tourism.
