The indicator »very low work intensity rate« was replaced by the indicator » very low work intensity rate (EU 2030 Strategy)« in 2022 when the set of sustainable development goals indicators was updated.
Very low work intensity rate (EU 2030 Strategy) is the percentage of persons aged 0-64 living in households where the adults (aged 18-64) worked less than 20% of their total work potential (expressed in months) during the past year (income reference year); work intensity of these households was 0 to 0.2. The indicator is used to monitor the EU 2030 Strategy goals (EU 2030 Strategy).
The very low work intensity rate (EU 2020 Strategy) is the percentage of persons aged 0–59 living in households where the adults (aged 18–59) worked less than 20% of their total work potential (expressed in months) during the past year (income reference year). The indicator was used to monitor the EU 2020 Strategy goals (EU 2020 Strategy).
