In Slovenia inflation is measured with the consumer price index with which we measure changes in retail prices of goods and services from the point of view of the expenditure structure, which the resident population intends for final consumption at home and abroad.

In February 2018 the consumer confidence indicator worsened by 2 percentage points at the monthly level and improved by 8 percentage points at the annual level. Despite the deterioration, consumer opinion remains high, as it was 20 percentage points above the long-term average.
