  National accounts
The most extensive statistical analyses – including all production and service activities, GDP calculation, rest of the world account, taxes, etc. – are presented according to ESA methodology.

  Prices
Price statistics offers data on prices of retail products, producer prices of manufactured goods and prices of agricultural products. For presenting the dynamics of prices, price indices are calculated, the most important being consumer price indices, which are used to measure the inflation rate.

  Business entities
This field presents data on business subjects (legal and natural persons) classified by the organisational form, by the Standard Classification of Activities and by the Standard Classification of Institutional Sectors.

  Mining and manufacturing
The field is presented by data on industrial enterprises and their production: for estimating the trade cycles, the most important indicators are the industrial production volume index and the productivity index.

  Construction
The field covers construction activity at buildings and civil engineering, buildings permits and safety permits, construction of dwellings, dwelling stock, consumption of building material, and business tendencies in construction.

  Distributive trade and other service activities
The field covers short-term indicators of retail trade, sale and maintenance of motor vehicles, retail sale of fuel, and other service activities, including restaurants. Quarterly evolution of turnover in retail trade, wholesale, activities of agents involved in sale of goods, etc., is also shown.

  Tourism
The field covers results on capacity of tourist accommodation establishments, on arrivals and nights of domestic and foreign tourists, on tourism travels of domestic population, on visitors to selected tourist sights, casinos, swimming facilities, museums and galleries, on characteristics of foreign tourists in Slovenia, on capacity and traffic in marinas and on work of slovene travel agencies.

  Transport
Data present railway, maritime, air and road transport, traffic in ports and airports, and cross-border traffic.

  Information society
Includes data about the usage of information-communication technologies in households and enterprises. The picture of the information society in Slovenia is completed with the data about postal and telecommunication services.

  Research & development, science & technology
Monitoring R&D is enabled by data on expenditure for this activity, employees, finished and unfinished research projects and government budget appropriations for R&D.

  External trade
Commodity exchange with foreign countries is presented in this field. External trade volume is one of the most important indicators of economic trends.

  Crafts
This field presents data on craft establishments and establishments with activities similar to crafts as well as breakdown of crafts into cottage industry, and arts and crafts.

  Business tendency
This field combines results of surveys on business tendencies in manufacturing, retail trade, construction and services. The purpose is to present data on the current situation of economic indicators and evaluation of their trends in the future.

  Economic Globalisation
The term »globalisation« has been widely used to describe the increasing internationalisation of markets for goods and services, the financial system, corporations and industries, technology and competition.
