| | | Population This field of statistics offers a collection of statistical data and indicators on the population of Slovenia: births, deaths, marriages, divorces, immigration and emigration. Data collected by population censuses are also presented. |
| | Labour market This field combines two data sets: on labour force, i.e. persons in paid employment, self-employed persons and unemployed persons, and on wages and labour costs.

| | Level of living Data on available and allocated assets in households and on their housing conditions are the basis for assessing the level of living of the population, for calculating the at-risk of poverty rate and other social indicators. |
| | Education Education statistics covers all levels of education: kindergartens, elementary schools, upper secondary schools with all education programs, post-secondary vocational colleges, higher education institutions with all education programs and all continuing education programs. |
| | Culture and sport Data are collected by cultural activities of theatres, the philharmonic orchestra and professional orchestras, broadcasting institutions, film production, cinemas, libraries, museums, archives, exhibitions, etc., as well as the zoo and aquaria. Sports activity is represented by data on execution of the national program of sport. |
| | Health The level of medical care for the population is presented by data on hospitals and health care personnel, while health of the population is presented by data on preventive and curative consultations of youth and adults. |
| | Social protection The field covers programs of public and private institutions easing the burden of certain risks or needs such as disease, old age, disability, death of the breadwinner, etc.; programs of social welfare, parental care and family benefits are also shown. |
| | Crime This field is presented by data on perpetrators of criminal offences from filing the charge for committing a crime to the final judgement in a criminal case as well as data on victims of crimes, which do not depend on the reports of criminal offences to the police or some other authority. |
