Statistical Office
Information Centre
The Information Centre represents an important link between statistical data and data users. An important part of the Information Centre is the Special Library with the Reading Room. The library collects and keeps all publications issued by the Statistical Office as well as publications issued by international organizations (e.g. UN, OECD, Council of Europe) and some publications issued by foreign statistical offices. We would like to point out the wide selection of statistical publications of neighbouring countries, statistical yearbooks of European countries and publications issued by Eurostat. It is, however, not possible to borrow the publications. Information about local bibliographic/catalogue database is available via the COBISS system or by phone +386 1 241 52 58.
Experts working in the Information Centre provide advice to users on how to access the data and help them find statistical data and information. The most requested and topical data (average monthly earnings, inflation) are provided 24 hours per day also by the answering machine (+386 1 475 65 55).
The quickest way to get rapid information on statistical data, advice about data or help how to access data on Statistical Office's website is to call user support on +386 1 241 51 04. Business hours for personal visits to the library and for phone support are:
| » Mon-Thu: |
9.00 - 15.30 |
| » Fri: |
9.00 - 14.30 |
