This series has been published since 1957. Until 1962 it was published under the title Communiqué and since 1963 under the present title.
The series is divided into 27 subseries , which are further divided into titles related in terms of contents. Individual issues within the same title are published monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly or occasionally, depending on the periodicity of statistical surveys. Content affinity of particular subseries is indicated also with the same colour of the heading. About 360 issues are published each year. They bring the latest statistical data from most fields of statistics . They are usually aggregated at the highest level. Data are obtained with statistical surveys carried out by the Statistical Office on the basis of the Annual Programme of Statistical Surveys. In addition to data and charts, each issue contains the comment, short methodological explanations, basic statistical definitions and the description of the survey. |
