The medium-term programme of statistical surveys is adopted for a 5-year period and represents the basis for the preparation of the annual statistical programmes. In the introductory part the mission, vision and values of national statistics are presented. It covers strategic guidelines and objectives for national statistics in the mentioned period and priority areas by fields of statistics.
The proposal of the medium-term programme prepared by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia in cooperation with authorised producers is discussed by the Statistical Council of the Republic of Slovenia and afterwards adopted by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia.
