Published since 1992; first as CESTAT Statistical Bulletin and since 2002 under the present title.
This is a statistical publication prepared jointly by statistical offices of eleven Candidate Countries (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia).
The publication brings most important internationally comparable statistics on the eleven co-operating countries. In terms of contents, each issue is divided into three chapters that bring a comparison of most important economic and social indicators by fields of activity. At the end one can find a glossary and the most necessary methodological notes.
CANSTAT Statistical Bulletin is a bilingual quarterly published by each participating country in its native language and in English on the Internet. The fourth issue of each year is also published as a book. |

From 1 May 2004 on CANSTAT Statistical Bulletin will no longer be published because most countries preparing it became part of the European Union.
