The homepage consists of the header with five links and three columns with different content.
The National statistics and Statistical Office links offer basic information on the system of national statistics in Slovenia and its organization scheme (non-data content).
Under the Publications link, usually in PDF format, all publications sorted by series are displayed.
The Contact link is intended for information on services which we provide for our users.
The left column is a starting point to data and metadata:
- under the heading FIELDS OF STATISTICS you will find 4 main groups including 29 subject areas with same dissemination structure;
- the heading DATABASES includes the SI-STAT Data Portal, the main access to all data and links, and the Statistical Databank, the first interactive database of SORS including also detailed data on external trade;
- the heading EUROPEAN DATA is intended for the Eurostat data users; the European Statistical Office disseminates data on all Member States;
- under the heading METHODOLOGY, PROJECTS methodological explanations are available. For very demanding users a special Classification Server is a collection of classifications and nomenclatures. The Guide through Statistics brings definitions of statistical terms.
In the middle the latest First Releases and other news are displayed by date of publication. A list of the last 50 news is available form here.
The right column is a navigation to various contents:
- under the heading DO NOT MISS some promotional and popular topics for the general public are presented;
- the heading KEY INDICATORS is a shortcut to the longer time series of most wanted data (inflation, average earnings, GDP); you can also calculate inflation rates for a longer period;
- under the heading RELEASE DATES you can observe our release scheme for a certain period; our search engine allows to monitor also the past and future dissemination.
