In November 2010 the registered unemployment rate was 11.1%, 0.2 of a percentage point higher than a month before. In the same comparison the number of persons in employment decreased by about 2,100.
The registered unemployment rate 11.1% In November 2010 the registered unemployment rate increased by 0.2 of a percentage point, reaching 11.1% (10.4% for men and 11.9% for women). As regards statistical regions, it was still the highest in the Pomurska region, where after eight months of decreasing it increased for the second consecutive month and was 18.1%. In the last four months the registered unemployment rate increased the most in the Koroška region (by 1.0 percentage point), in the Obalno-kraška region (by 0.9 of a percentage point) and in the Notranjsko-kraška region (by 0.8 of a percentage point). The number of persons in employment lower by about 2,100 In November 2010 the number of persons in employment decreased by about 2,100, entirely due to the decrease in the number of men in employment, because the number of women in employment increased by 5. Three fourths of these men were employed by legal persons and one fourth by natural persons. The number of persons in employment decreased the most in construction (by about 1,300), manufacturing (by about 500) and wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (by about 400).
