Environmental protection expenditure in general government sector, Slovenia, 2001-2006 - PROVISIONAL DATA

Environmental investments and environmental related current expenditure were from 2001 to 2003 nominally increasing, from 2004 to 2006 they nominally decreased.

Nominal value of environmental expenditure I

Environmental Expenditure I, that is the sum of the environment protection investment plus current expenditure minus receipts from by-products, were from 2001-2003 nominally increasing and than to 2006 they nominally decreased.

Environmental expenditure II in 2006 decreased

Environmental Expenditure II is the sum of expenditure I plus fees and purchases minus environment protection revenues received from other sectors, decreased in 2006 in the share of GDP.

Environmental expenditure in the share of GDP

Environmental expenditure I were in 2006 lower for 0.03 percentage point in comparison to 2001.

Environmental expenditure II were nominally in 2006 the lowest and they represented 0.71% of GDP.

Data source for preparing data on environmental protection expenditure in the government sector are data from state budget of Ministry of finance according to Classification on functioning of government (COFOG) and according to the Economic classification of activities and also data on environment related taxes (calculated value, exempted value and actually paid value) of the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia.
