In 2007 the final data on estimated damage amounted to € 123.6 million, which was 49% more than in 2006. Response rate was 96.19%.

In 2007 the final data on estimated damage amounted to € 123.6 million, which was 49% more than in 2006. Response rate was 96.19%. The estimated damage was the highest in agriculture where it amounted to € 9.7 million (for 3 times than in 2006).

Most damage caused by flood, which was the consequence of hard storms and strong wind
In 2007 most damage was caused by flood, storm with strong wind and drought. The final data on estimated damage caused by flood in 2007 amounted to € 81 million, for storm in 2007 amounted to € 15,8 million and for drought amounted to € 15,4 million.

Most damage on construction objects

In 2007 most damage was caused on construction objects, working means and on land. The same applies for private ownership. By branches of activities, most damage was caused in agriculture, hunting and forestry (sections of activity A), in construction (sections of activity F) and in transport, storage and communication (section of activity I)

The highest loss caused in Savinjska, Gorenjska and Goriška statistical region
Among statistical regions, the highest loss arising from natural disasters was caused in Savinjska and Gorenjska regions. Drought caused most damage in Pomurska and Podravska regions.

152 of municipalities suffered damage
The damage caused by natural disasters was estimated in 152 municipalities out of 210; the remaining 58 municipalities did not report any or have small damage.
