There were 38,709 kilometres of public roads in Slovenia in 2007, of these 6,476 kilometres of state roads and 32,233 kilometres of municipal roads.

At the end of 2007, there were 38,709 kilometres of public roads. In comparison with 2006 in 2007 the length of state road increased by 52 kilometres and the length of municipal roads by 95 kilometres. The length of motorways stayed unchanged.

In the SI-STAT data portal annual data on road infrastructure for 2007 are published. Data by type of carriageway and by municipalities and regions are not available yet. Therefore they will be published later. The source of data is Ministry of Transport - Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Roads.

Data access
More detailed data and time series are available at the SI-STAT data portal, which enables simple browsing and exporting of data into various formats. Registered users have the possibility to store tables for later browsing and to sign up to be informed when data are updated
