Craft enterprises, Slovenia, 2007

In 2007, 38,135 craft enterprises were registered in Slovenia in sections of activities C-K (NACE). Compared to 2006 their number increased by 4.2%.
In sections of activities C-K (NACE) there were 38,135 craft enterprises in 2007 In 2007, craft enterprises represented 36.2% of all enterprises in Slovenia, persons employed in craft enterprises represented 25.1% of all persons employed and turnover of craft enterprises represented 17.7% of total turnover of all enterprises in Slovenia. Most craft enterprises registered in construction and manufacturing Of all craft enterprises, 64.5% were registered in the activities of construction and manufacturing. Most persons working in craft enterprises were employed in construction, manufacturing and wholesale, retail; certain repair, 79.4%. The largest share of the total turnover of craft enterprises was that of wholesale, retail, certain repair, construction and manufacturing, 87.5%. As regards size, micro enterprises prevailed; as regards legal form, natural persons prevailed Enterprises with 1-9 persons employed represented 93.8% of craft enterprises, 43.6% of persons employed in craft enterprises and 24.9% of total turnover of craft enterprises. The structure of craft enterprises was: natural persons 86.2% and legal persons 13.8%. More craft enterprises, greater turnover, more persons employed than in 2006 In 2007 the number of craft enterprises increased by 4.2% compared to 2006.
