In 2007, enterprises, companies and organisations created investments worth EUR 6,214.3 million; the greatest share of these was created by industry (sections C, D, E and F).

In 2007, enterprises, companies and organisations employing 20 or more employees created EUR 6,214.3 million of gross investments (new and existing assets).

The nominal increase of gross investments amounted to 15.2%

The 2007 nominal increase of gross investments over 2006 was 15.2%. This means a real increase, since the average annual inflation rate in 2007 was 3.6%.

In 2007 the greatest share of investments intended for construction work

In the total structure of gross investments (new and existing assets) in 2007, the greatest share (50.6%) was that of investments for construction work, followed by investments for machinery, transport, other equipment and cultivated assets with 46.0% and intangible fixed assets with 3.4%.

The greatest share of investments created by industry

The greatest share of gross investments was created by industry (sections C, D, E and F) with 34.4%, followed by transport, storage and communication (section I) with 21.7%, public administration (section L) with 16.9% and trade, repair of motor vehicles (section G) with 8.7% of total investments.
