Number of radio programmes increasing
In 2007, radio broadcasting institutions forwarded data for 82 radio programmes, which is 19 more than a year before. There were 43 radio programmes of special importance; 11% of them public programmes, approximately a half local programmes, 32% regional programmes and three non-profit programmes of special importance. 

Half TV programmes of special importance and half with no special status
In 2007, TV organisations in their questionnaires presented data for 58 TV programmes. 29 or half of TV programmes had a special status; most of them were local programmes of special importance (62%).

In 2007, radio organisations broadcasted more local and less regional programme than a year before
In 2007, radio organisations that reported to us broadcasted 84,775 hours of regional programme, 5,639 hours less than in the previous year. Also in this year radio stations broadcasted 93,343 hours of local programme. In 2007, TV organizations that reported to us broadcasted 20,604 hours of regional TV programme, a third less than in the previous year. Local TV stations broadcasted 31,541 hours of local programme, which was 12% more than in the previous year.
