Number of cinemas falling
In 2007, 54 cinemas were operating in Slovenia, i.e. 3 less than a year before. Compared to 2005 there were 7 cinemas less, which is a decrease of 11.5%.

In the 2004–2007 period the highest attendance in Slovenian cinemas was recorded in 2004 (around 3 million). A year later it fell by 18.6%. In 2007, 2,406,568 people attended the screenings of long films in Slovenian cinemas (5.6% of which Slovenian and 94.4% foreign), which was 10.4% less than in 2006.

Most of the short and medium-length films were feature films
In 2007, 1,062 short and medium-length films were shown, of which 73% feature, 19.6% documentary and 7.4% animated.

Most projectors for 35 mm films
Cinemas that answered the questionnaire most frequently had 35 mm projectors (73.9%), followed by digital projectors (19.6%) and the rest used other projection technologies (6.5%).
