Production of films and videofilms, Slovenia, 2007

According to Slovenian Film Fund data, 12 cinema films were produced and shown for the first time in 2007. According to Statistical Office’s data, 2,998 audio-visual TV works were produced in the same year.
Feature films the most produced; only one animated film produced in 2007
In 2007, 12 Slovenian films were produced or shown for the first time by Slovene producers, of which 7 or 58.3% were feature films (3 long and 4 short and medium length), 4 or a third were documentary films and one was animated (Slovenian Film Fund). Own production strongly prevails among audio-visual TV works
In 2007 film producers which reported their data to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia produced 2,998 audio-visual TV works, of which almost a quarter were ordered. 2,828 audio-visual TV works were own produced, which is 94.3% of all audio-visual TV works. Film producers co-operated with domestic co-producers in producing 99 (3.3%) and with foreign co-producers in producing 71 (2.4%) of audio-visual TV works.
