In 2007, cultural institutions organized 8,323 performances, which was 7.8% more than a year before. In the same year 2,726 own productions were staged by cultural institutions, which was 13.7% less than a year before.

Increase in attendance in cultural institutions
In 2007, cultural institutions that reported about their activity organised 8,323 performances. The share of own productions was 32.8% and the share of domestic majority production was 13.4% (taking into account only the co-producer with a majority). The number of foreign co-productions was 91 and the number of tours was 3,074. The total attendance in cultural institutions in 2007 increased by 27.3% over a year before and was around 2,3 million. 

In Slovenia more people attending education and training activities in cultural institutions like year before, also increase the number of children and youth
In 2007, cultural institutions prepared 1,160 education and training seminars and workshops; they were attended by 113,648 people, of whom 69.7% children and youth.
