The amount of gross investments for environmental protection collected with the statistical surveys OKI and OKI – S was in 2006 70028 mio SIT that is 16% more than in 2005, the amount of current expenditures for environmental protection was in 2006 78735 mio SIT that is 18% higher than in 2005.
In 2006 5,7% gross investment for environmental protection In 2006 the share of gross investment for environmental protection amounted to 5,7% of the total amount of gross investment (for new fixed assets in enterprises, companies and organisations that amounted to 1237006 mio SIT) in 2006. In 2006 the greatest share of investment for waste water treatment The biggest share in the structure of gross investment for environmental protection in 2006 is that of wastewater management (close to 38%). The biggest share of current expenditure for waste removal The biggest share in the structure of current expenditure for environmental protection for 2006 is that of current expenditure for waste removal (more than 65%). In 2006 the greatest share of investments for end-of-pipe investment In 2006 in industry (sections of activity C, D, E) the share of gross investment for environmental protection amounted more than 64% of the total amount of gross investment for environmental protection for end-of-pipe investment. The greatest income from the environmental protection activities in the subsection of activities Manufacturing of basic metals and fabricated products. In the structure of the incomes from the environmental protection activities in the manufacturing (section D) we have observed higher income of receipts from by products, that are the result of environmental protection activities in the subsection of activities Manufacturing of basic metals and fabricated products.
