In 2006, 57 cinemas which Filmski sklad RS / Cenex transmitted data on their activity showed 23 Slovenian films for the first time.
The number of cinemas decreased In 2006, 57 cinemas showed Filmski sklad RS / Cenex their activities. Their number decreased by four compared to 2005 and by 10.9% compared to 2004. Fewer Slovenian films shown for the first time than in 2005 According to data obtained from film producers, in 2006 23 Slovenian films were produced and shown for the first time, of which 21.7% long and the rest short films. In 2006 more audio-visual works were distributed to TV stations then in 2005 In 2006, 348 audio-visual works were distributed to TV stations, of which 59.5% old and 40.5% new works. In comparison to 2005 the total number increased by 41.5%; however, the number of new distributed audio-visual TV works was slightly lower.
