Labour force survey detailed data, Slovenia, 3rd quarter 2011

Detailed data on the Labour Force Survey in Slovenia for the third quarter of 2011 are published in the Rapid Reports.

In the third quarter of 2011 there were 945,000 employed in Slovenia, which was 7,000 more than in the previous quarter. The distribution of employed by sections of activity shows that almost a quarter of all employed worked in manufacturing; the highest share of employed worked as professionals (19.4%). 11.3% of employed worked part time; employed performed 39.3 hours in an average week.

The number of unemployed slightly increased in this quarter from 79,000 to 81,000. Almost 50% of unemployed persons were looking for a job for one year or more.

The number of inactive decreased for a second consecutive quarter, as there were 7,000 inactive less than in the previous quarter.

Data on the Labour Force Survey, already published in the First Release on 30 November 2011, are published in Rapid Reports at a more detailed level.
